Our Rescue in Detail
FuRRR Feline Rescue Details
- We are 501(c)(3) Non-Profit feline rescue organization
- Supported by 100% volunteers
- There are NO paid staff, including our board members
- Our organization receives donations from the public, grants, and other resources to fulfill the needs of our shelter
All donated money is used for:
- Medical expenses, including vet bills (including out of state), hospital stays, vaccinations, and emergency medical care of the cats
- Spay & neuter
- Medications, microchips, licenses, and fees
- Shelter expenses, including rent, utilities, internet, and supplies
- Cat food, litter, cleaning supplies, and related expense
Most of our expenses are spent primarily on medical care for the cats. Out-of-state surgeries for the cats coming to us aren’t uncommon either. We do appreciate all the donations to keep running FuRRR!
