FuRRR Feline Rescue accepts cats and kittens by appointment only from our local area as space allows, as well as any cat originally adopted from us.  Please email adoption@furrr.org and we will contact you shortly about taking the cat/kitten into the program.

If we do not currently have space you can choose to be added to our waitlist or please see the list below to find other rescues and shelters in the area and for information about posting your cat/kitten on New England Area Animal Adopt/Rehome:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/NEAreaAnimalAdoptRehome/ It’s a good idea to do as much as you can to find your cat a new home on your own and avoid the shelter system.

This list is not meant to be comprehensive. Please note that FuRRR is not affiliated with, nor do we endorse, any of these groups. If you are looking to surrender a pet, it is your responsibility to find out whether or not the group you choose is a no-kill shelter. Note that many no-kill shelters (like FuRRR) often have a waiting list — please call first to inquire about each group’s surrender policies.

24 Hour Emergency & Specialty Veterinarians

Please note that FuRRR does not endorse any of these vets; we simply provide this list for your convenience!

Local Veterinarians

We are very lucky to live in an area with LOTS of great veterinarians! Please note that FuRRR does not endorse any of these vets; we simply provide this list for your convenience.
