With her precious baby face, playful nature, and coat of many colors, Kala is sure to steal your heart. She is the biggest sweetheart, especially when she looks at you with those big, beautiful eyes. She is so adorable! Kala likes to run around and play with toys or have an occasional zoomy run, but she is also happy to sit quietly on her own.
Kala has a grade 1 medial patellar luxation on her left hind leg. The kneecap can be moved out of place manually but will fall back into its natural position once the manipulator lets go. She does not require surgical repair, and this condition does not appear to cause her any pain.
Kala also has a condition called Stomatitis, which can be very painful, resulting from inflammation of the mouth tissue. The condition is treated by having a partial or full mouth extraction. Kala has had most of her teeth extracted. However, this has not diminished her desire for wet food and snacks. She eats dry food just fine as well.
Because of this condition, Kala’s adopter must have an established relationship with their veterinarian. FuRRR’s Medical Director would be happy to discuss any concerns/questions the adopter may have.
